In #227, @bumblefudge demonstrated an alternative formatting of the "References" section. I think this is the correct approach, and propose to update the FEP template. --- I'd say this is not a minor change, therefore 1 month should pass since the last commit before the change can be accepted (per FEP-a4ed).
